Hollow Bones was published just after the Lindsay Clancy trial's hung-jury.  The book's major teaching points have to do with postpartum psychosis, which today is still poorly understood and often mistreated by the medical profession.

This is a masterful book by a consummate storyteller. I could not put it down.

Hollow Bones is timely and relevant.  Anyone who has followed the Clancy trial would be captivated by it.  Prosecutors and judges would do well to read it.
